with Karen Harris, M. Div.
Tuesdays, September 21 - October 12
7:30 - 9 p.m.
As the exploration of yoga unfolds and deepens, many practitioners begin to experience not only greater physical health and flexibility, but also an expansion of their psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being. How do the various yogic traditions explain the relationship between body and spirit, body and soul? What does our own experience of yoga teach us about this mysterious connection?
Join Karen Harris for a group exploration of this ancient question, which lies at the heart of the practice of yoga.
$60 if paid by September 10, 70 after
Karen Harris is a lifelong student of religious traditions who brings both the rigor of academic research and the insight of decades of committed spiritual practice in monasteries in the US and Asia to her work as a university lecturer, interfaith minister and yoga philosophy instructor.
Karen has the ability to inspire deep embodied realization, turn the power of word, and pierce into the heart. She has an excellent ability to synthesize and capture the essence of practice and teaching and to share it so we get it. Beautiful teachings, clearly portrayed, and shot through with profound realization.
