YOGA THERAPY

What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is a personalized healing program using a blend of methods from the ancient tradition of yoga and modern applications of the Universal Principles of Alignment of Anusara Yoga. Techniques include hands-on manipulations and guided instruction.

Areas of Focus:
Develop your home practice, heal an injury, address physical or breathing limitations, postural improvement, increase flexibility, stress reduction, meditation instruction

Conditions Yoga Therapy May Help:
Postural imbalances, injuries, and chronic pains in the shoulders, neck, back, pelvis, ankles, knees, elbows, jaw, and wrists. We have helped many people find relief from sciatic pain, locked sacro-iliac joint, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, scoliosis, temporal-mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and more. Yoga Therapy can also help with insomnia, stress, anxiety, asthma, depression, high blood pressure, and hypertension
.

Sessions may include: physical or energetic assessment, hands-on adjustments, discussion of posture and alignment, use of props, a guided practice session, guided relaxation

Audio Taping:
Your session may be audio taped at your request.
To create a personalized, audio taped yoga routine, a minimum of 2 sessions
is recommended.


Fees:
Initial session: $80 - 95 for 1.5 hours
Follow-up sessions: $60 - 75 for 1 hour
Private Yoga Class: $50 - 60 per hour

Location: 822 G St., Arcata, ste. #11. This is above Plaza Design, on the plaza, and is NOT the Yoga Center.
Attire: Comfortable clothing, not too baggy. Shorts are preferred.
