Kendra brings to her teachings an awareness of the healing properties of Reiki. She has been trained and initiated into the 1st and 2nd degrees of Reiki Healing. Also, she has been studying and practicing Sufism for 10 years and brings this Universal, joyful and heart-opening perspective to her teaching as well.
Kendra creates a welcoming environment for students to discover their potential, find freedom in body and breath, and open to the joy of life through Yoga. Her study of Anusara Yoga and Sufi mystical teachings encourage her to open her heart, see the beauty in all, and celebrate life!.......................................................
Donvieve has worked as an artist/educator in many domains for the past 35 years. She has always enjoyed nurturing her body, mind and spirit and sharing it through the creative mediums of theatre, dance and yoga. This naturally evolved from a childhood that was nourished by these self-expressions… profoundly affecting her life style, health, and the desire to share this joy and passion for life with others.
She began studying yoga when she was in her teens and fell in love with the practice as it cultivated in her vibrant health and well-being. Her commitment to the practice of yoga and meditation kindled the desire to share with others, so she completed the Anusara Yoga Immersion and teacher training with Inner Freedom Yoga.
She was so inspired by the results she was seeing in the training and in her own life, that she decided to offer yoga classes after work for employees at a small business to help them relax, stretch and become more peaceful. Many months into it, these classes have become a sanctuary where employees look forward to practicing yoga and ending the day relaxed. These classes have also inspired her to create ‘Have Yoga will Travel’ (a yoga practice for local firms to be proactive in taking care of their employees mental and physical health.)
She says, “As we open our hearts to our divine beauty and recognize the light within, a ripple is generated in the universe. We can all make a profound difference in the world by opening our hearts to this infinite light by sharing it. This is yoga, the union of mind, body and soul.”
ABOUT MICKI:
Micki Lewis was a competitive swimmer, avid snowboarder, and classroom biology teacher before finding yoga. She discovered yoga in 2000 in Reno, NV, after the birth of her first son. She discovered that the alignment instructions, breathing exercises and poses she learned help her to heal from a serious injury, and that yoga is much more than just exercise, it is a way of life! Everything changed, from her body getting stronger, to her mind and attitude becoming more adaptable. She was hooked, and took her first Hatha yoga teacher training in 2005, in Reno. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Humboldt, Co., where she was introduced to Robyn Smith and the Anusara Yoga method. Through the heart-oriented themes, and the powerful connection of them to the yoga poses, she realized she wanted more, and began studying Anusara more seriously. In January 2011, she completed Robyn’s Anusara Immersion and Teacher Training program and began teaching with Inner Freedom Yoga. Her classes are a unique blend of her athletic abilities and knowledge, classroom teaching skills, and sense of humor. In addition to yoga, you can find Micki enjoying nature, swimming, pottery, and working as a middle school Instructional Aide.
ABOUT JAIME:

She continues to grow physically and spiritually through her yoga practice and also enjoys being a mom, cooking and glassblowing.
